About Carlie

Hair & Makeup Artist | Hype Woman | Early Morning Specialist

Hi! I’m Carlie — your go-to girl for glowing makeup, effortless hair, and good vibes only.

I’ve been playing with hair since I could walk (just ask my childhood dolls... most of them had questionable fringes and spontaneous pixie cuts). My grandma was a hairdresser, so you could say it’s literally in my blood. I’ve always known this is what I was meant to do.

Fast forward 25 years — I’ve worked in beautiful salons, travelled the world with a kit in hand, and now run my own dreamy home studio where I get to connect with my gorgeous clients one-on-one (with coffee, chats, and yes, the occasional happy tear). I’m also out on-location doing weddings, special events, photoshoots — living that creative, best-of-both-worlds life.

But honestly? What I love the most is you.

When I see a bride’s eyes light up in the mirror, when someone finally feels seen, or when we have a deep chat mid-mascara — that’s the magic. I don’t just want you to look beautiful. I want you to feel confident, calm, and completely yourself.

If you're in my chair, you're getting:

  • Hair padding, bobby pins, and probably a pep talk

  • A champagne pour at your trial (plus a hug, obviously)

  • A dance test before you leave so I know your style will last

  • Someone who truly listens, gets excited for you, and gives her whole heart to your day

I also host a podcast from my salon called "We’re Not Cutting That" — unfiltered chats with your hairdresser (because let’s be honest, we talk about everything).

I can’t wait to meet you and bring your vision to life — whether it’s walking down the aisle, dancing under fairy lights, or just needing that feel-good glam. Let’s make magic xxx Carlie
