Carlie Anne Hair Design & Makeup

1. Bookings & Minimum Numbers

Mobile hair and makeup services require a minimum booking of three (3) adults.
Bookings for fewer than three adults may be available in-salon, subject to availability.

All bookings are accepted on a first-in, first-served basis and are only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

2. Travel, Parking & Early Start Fees

  • A travel fee applies to locations outside the Brisbane metropolitan area and is charged from $50 per hour.

  • Interstate and overseas bookings are price on application (POA).

  • Parking must be organised and paid for by the client where required.

  • An early morning surcharge of $50 per hour applies to bookings commencing before 6:00am.

All travel and timing fees will be confirmed prior to finalising your booking.

3. Payments

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure and confirm your booking.

  • Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  • The final balance, including any adjustments, is due 14 days prior to your event date.

Failure to make payments by the required dates may result in the release of your booking.

4. Cancellations & Date Changes

  • All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • In the event of cancellation or a change of date, any payments already made will be forfeited.

5. Changes to Terms

Carlie Anne Hair Design & Makeup reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version published on this website at the time of booking will apply.

Hair & Makeup Trial Information

Trials are designed to ensure you feel confident, comfortable, and excited about your final look. To help you get the most out of your appointment, please read the following guidelines.

Preparing for Your Trial

  • Book your trial at least one month prior to your wedding or event.

  • Wash your hair the day before the trial.

  • Arrive with naturally dried hair (please avoid straightening or curling tools beforehand).

  • Arrive with little to no makeup on the skin.

  • Wear a similar neckline and colour to your outfit or dress.

  • Ask questions — your feedback is always welcome and encouraged.

  • Honesty is key. When you’re happy, we’re happy.

What to Bring to Your Trial

  • A few reference images of hair and makeup looks you love.

  • Your headpiece, veil, or any accessories you plan to wear (if available).

  • Important details about your day, such as photographer arrival times, if not already provided.

A Helpful Tip

Many clients choose to book their trial on the same day as another special occasion — such as an engagement shoot, engagement party, or hens celebration.
If needed, your look can be adjusted so it doesn’t spoil the surprise for your wedding day.
